As members of St Vincent de Paul Society we demonstrate the Society’s vision of offering “a hand up” to people in need. We aim to offer friendship, assistance and compassion to people in all areas of need.
We try to make a meaningful difference, through volunteering in the local store, fundraising and helping where we can. Like the Vincentians we aspire to live the Gospel message by serving Christ through our services with love, respect, justice, hope and joy, and by working to shape a more just and compassionate society.
The conference provides weekly assistance at the shop in the Village, organises, packs and distributes Christmas hampers and plan and conduct the Winter Appeal.
The group meets every second and fourth Friday of the month at 9am in the Parish meeting room.
